Ok - so to update...
Oooh on my last day of Easter hols I met up with Rach, not for long but I gave her birthday present and we had a little catch up - we are going to meet soon hopefully - she's going to get the train to Blackpool and we will meet there :)
When we got back after Easter wooop wooop :) uni times kick off again!!
As well as lots of rehearsals for our animaltastic devised piece, had lots of fun times :)
Sam's birthday was the Tuesday wooop party times - theme - movie characters and cartoon characters! He did a fantastic full on Scooby Doo, I was Penelope Pitstop... there were men in black and St Trinians...
I made his cake the night before - single baking is a lonely business and it felt so weird... not looking forward to less baking times next year when he isn't here :(
Friday night went partying out for Jen's birthday, my return to Sugar yay. the theme was 'J' fancy dress and I wasn't going to dress up but in our lecture she was like 'I hope you're coming as Jacko!' so I couldn't not really.. so that outfit got recycled. My hat got nicked by a boy from theatre and when he brought it back to me later it was pretty crushed :( oh well!!!
Saturday I went to town with Sam for a loovely day.. we had a bit of a parking mission haha but then we looked at the market, such a sunny day :) we saw a baklawa stall but the guy had like 4 ice cream tubs of it and we decided if he had made them we didn't want any also his pricing made no sense and was stupid. We found a cupcake stall though - Sam had a lemon vanilla one and I had a snickers one... it had peanut butter icing. We decided they are no match for us! :P
Then to Topman to spend his birthday vouchers - he got a couple of t shirts... ermmmm we decided to get our baking stuff for Sunday baking - a carrot cake was the plan!!
But when it came to acquiring cream cheese we could only find 'soft cheese' and we talked to the staff and everything but we weren't too sure what to do... we bought some that didn't have salt in the end.
Then we played PM at ours and went to Hustle for Y's birthday and then to Sugar :)
Sunday baking - the carrot cake was going well and everything but we were not sure about cream cheese icing. I think it was actually fine, we were just so paranoid we convinced ourselves it was disgusting! So we scraped most of it off and it was pretty damn tasty.
Tuesday night fusioning it again for the return of Char who'd been home looking after the dog so we hadn't really seen her since we got back (she came in for a cup of tea a week before haha)
it was a jungle theme I went to the effort of making some fake leaves and strung them together and stuck to my top haha. And when I was there I got a sombrero :) yay.
And throughout the week leading to my birthday I've been doing a lot of sewing of my costume.... lots of red fringing, sequins and feathers v cabaret :) xxx

Mamma Mia, does it show again, my my, just how much I've missed you!
Welll, it has been a while! So updates...
it's nearly the end of my four weeks off for Easter (going back Sunday) and it's been good, mostly!
I've been pretty busy the first week, then two weeks of not a lot, and my last week is going quite busily which is good. Hope to continue the busy-ness business. :)
And I guess I didn't update since like the last week of uni and that was quite eventful in many ways lol. I lost many times at what I call alcoholic Russian Roulette (vodka/water [un]lucky dip) on the last night out not good... more on that later haha.

And I guess I didn't update since like the last week of uni and that was quite eventful in many ways lol. I lost many times at what I call alcoholic Russian Roulette (vodka/water [un]lucky dip) on the last night out not good... more on that later haha.
So I don't know when the last time I updated was (I'm lying, 3rd of March.) but ermmm let's skip to St Patricks day until I remember what came in between... we made a massive bucket of punch and it was very tasty but I was getting essay done before going out as I hadn't planned to go out on the Tuesday especially cos I have 10am theatre Wednesdays but, my flatmates are persuasive haha..! I was aiming for like 1000 words or something then it got down to 700 words and then Rob said 500 was close enough. LOL! I couldn't concentrate anyways! The essay was for Thursday so it was oook. :) And we nicked Guinness hats lovely :) but that triggered several fights and skilful hat-hiding... hehhe. And then Wednesday got our new groupsd for theatre, I got my choice of Forced Entertainment based devised piece, even though what I saw of them was not very goood, the concepts are interesting and we can make something a little more Spectacular than they did ;) the ideas are being chucked around like metaphorical frisbees it should be good! Unfortunately we have the problem of a couple of frequent absenteeerists, but I am v used to that... and then I guess slowly writing my essay through the night, the help of cola and ben and jerrys - twice in a week and I'd never had it before haha. After our Monday lecture Carly and her flatmate and me got some and ate it in the sunshine, loovely. Instead of doing any work haha, even better. So I was just struggling through my essay and kept phoning Suzy to talk about The Thong Song etc... and to get reassurance about my work... and then she phoned me to suggest going to Spar for ice cream. Of course I was faaaar too engrossed in my work to even pick up the phone... hhaha whatevs Katie- we went for ice cream and it didn't really help me as it just distracted me until I banished it to the freezer forever more (til Saturday hah.) so somehow, I got that essay done and handed it in with Suzy in the morning after my about 6 hours sleep in two days, impressive or stupid you decide :P we'll soon see the grade... oh dear.
And then we had a little picnic for Eleanor because she was leaving uni... so me, Meg and Suzy and Eleanor got all summery and made sarnies etc and sat outside and it was lovely, and then it got a bit cold and we realised we were deluding ourselves! But we had gorgeous egg sandwiches and we bought a very calorific chocolate cake and ate all of it, why not haha.
Then I went out that night (are you a man or a machine) indie night, Meg and Ele there ayayyy. I didn't drink though, I'm not totally mad :P
And then the last night of term, much anticipated I was reallly looking forward to it... things just went a bit wrong :z the Russian roulette, led me to need the taxi to stop for me to skilfully throw up at the side of the road. When I got back into the taxi, the driver said it was very smoothly done, and Sam said 'You made that look cool'. I don't know about that haha. Sadly still felt ill for a bit and Staffy bless her held my hair back for me, deja vu....! But I drank lots of water and only water from then... :) but the night was a bit lost already - Adam was freaking everyone out saying he had a virus and could see vampires... a bit dodgy... and we kept losing everyone.. I didn't even dance!?!! I know, something has clearly gone wrong there... and lost everyone at the end and managed somehow to stay til the end even though I was planning to leave early, so went back with Lucca and nothing reallly happened but was at his til nearly 6am and he asked me to stay but I didn't really want to be kicked out at 10am for him to get his flight and my face was a state and o.m.g, contact lenses hahaha. So I told him not to miss me too much, yeah right. And then I walked back like a tramp it was daylight and the bunnies were hopping around our houses. Swanky... so then I slept for a couple of hours to be awoken by my less considerate flatmates moving their stuff around noisily to leave for Easter... sleep and me were just not best pals that week obviously. And then I felt really bad for not seeing Sam and I thought he'd be mad with me for my dodgy Friday, he'd gone home already :( but he wasn't mad thankfully.. and then I was basically alone for Saturday... so I packed... and slept, and panicked about people being mad at me... and showered and cleaned the kitchen etc etc. Adam went home leaving a bowl of pasta out!! YUCK! our cleaners aren't allowed to touch our food or throw it away even if new green life starts to grow on it, so imagine. Of course I chucked it... but left his bowl. I'm not washing that. Eurghh. does he wash up, he never washed up, the boy does nothing. Seriously.
Then I overslept the next day (is it any wonder!!) and awoke to the flat buzzer going off and realised my parents were there for me... ooops. So when they see me in my dressing gown I guess they think I can never get up for anything. It's not totally true! So I had to send them off for a bit while got ready to leave... ooops. they weren't too happy.. lol.
So when I got home....
Sadly the first social event was a funeral :( a girl I was friends with at gcse sort of time died :( it was a nice service though, and the first funeral I have been to... so you know, it was as nice as it could be really. Also met Sam, Amy and Rob there, and Rob drove us back to Amy's but we decided to go to the little after-gathering type thing although we didn't stay long as felt a bit out of place... eventually went to the pub, where I was meeting with the sisterhood! :) And then we got on the wine haha. We went back to Ellie's for a bit, tried on some silly clothes and then decided not to turn up in fancy dress, awh.. me and Katherine did the classic Moulin Rouge love song medley as we usually do (she is Nicole Kidman and I am Ewan McGregor haha. I don't know why we have this lovely tradition but it has to be that way around!) and we failed the pub quiz in our usual fashion happy days.
I went back the next day to meet them again because Kathy has moved up northerly so the sisterhood time was v valuable!! it was really good to catch up :)
And thennnn what did I do... erm shopping I think the next day - reunited myself with Leicester :D ermmmm... and then came my reasonably quiet two weeks haha.
The other Thursday we went away for a couple of nights to Ironbridge that was rainy but nice, they had a pool so we went swimming and jacuzziing and steam rooming and to Wetherspoons and the traditional Smith family mcflurry :P and we are 2/3 of the way to getting a Nokia on McNopoly but we pessimistically worked out that the bit we are missing is more rare than the other two that we happened to get... and I hardly ever go to maccys so not likely to win it... but I told ma famille that optimists live longer! So maybe I will win a new phone. Who cares!
Me and my dad went on this little downhill railway thing in Bridgnorth and at the bottom saw a dog chasing ducks. To me that was well worth it. Maman and Becky missed out.
Monday went to grandparents... pub lunch :) and it was nice to see them, nanna still asking me the same questions all the time :P
Tuesday went shopping with ma and Becky... and in the night went to meet Kathy and Tate :) yayy have not seen that babe forever! So we had a lot to catch up on and it was very funny. 99p wine ooops. :)Enjoyable!
And so tonight started to pack, and now going to watch Mamma Mia with my sis. The other week we watched The Matrix and it was quite good, a bit confusing. I mean I love all that utopia stuff it's the best! But I was a bit like... ok suspend your disbelief people haha. And if my sister is still doing work I will be road testing Lilia Kopylova's LatinaTone for maman... I don't think she trusts these dancercise dvds haha. So that should be good it looks cool :)

So long it could be a novel... but it's not fiction, all faction.
Wow… loads has happened since I last blogged! Basically, my pc monitor stopped working so I had no pc for a couple of weeks, and then when my parents came to visit they brought our old monitor from home, so I’ve got that now, and took my nice but not working one back with them! But not having my pc meant I would visit the pc rooms here every so oft! And I got more reading done, haha.
Also means that now, this is going to be a very long post with LOTS OF PICS! I will try to be in the mindset of each date so I won’t give anything away but I will say, yay for revenge (fingers crossed!) So, starting with…
Tuesday 27th January – we baked, pancakes... Emma made a pink one with some food colouring, disastrous and disgusting!!
Wednesday 28th January – baked macaroons and chocolate brownies!! :) Both very good, who cares only me, Sam and Char like coconut, more macaroons for us then!!
Thurs 29th Jan –
We went to Sugar for paradox something they do occasionally, with DJs and MCs in from other clubs/cities… this was DJ Luck and MC Neat, was a fun night..!! Before we went out we also played the premier of our new game, Body Blitz! Named after an exercise class yes :P Well it’s not as good as PM.. but… it needs work haha. We are pretty Creative though!! ;)

Friday 30th Jan – Sam’s friend Suzi came up to see him, lovely girl.. we went to Elements with a big group of us… Hannah’s friend was a bit keen on me, sweet lad but!!
Sat 31st Jan – Me and Staffy had an epic bar crawl! In the day, Char had her music on really loud and me and Staff were ‘corridor clubbing’, Char didn’t know haha. Also Adam in a moment of domesticity decided to hoover his room, the plug for the hoover is outside in the corridor, and with the music on loud, we found it hilarious to keep switching it off and back on…. He never did say anything about it, but it kept us amused on a boring Saturday!! :P
So later, we decided that we would have a big fat bar crawl!! The aim – 15 bars – the 8 college bars plus 7 bars in town! Dressed as… a ladybird and a zebra…

Wednesday 4th Feb – we made a cake for Gaz’s 21st… Staffy’s first attempt was a little bit… erm. It had no sugar in it, the recipe was wrong but she followed it anyway ahahaha. But, take 2 was amazing…!! And me and Sam made a ‘just for the hell of it’ cake which was also gorgeous!

Thursday 5th Feb – we went to Elements in the evening for indie night, love it… and saw Carly and we anticipated Nigel’s lecture which was to happen at 2pm the next day whoooop whoooop! Exciting times! :D

Friday 6th Feb – NIGEL’S LECTURE!!!! YAY. What can I say, it was shithot. We also had a workshop on physical theatrey stuff, fun but Nigel didn’t do that bit. L ahh well. The lecture was, shithot.
On the way back, me and Carly saw a poster, for some event that apparently happened on like the 28th of Janaury. JANAURY. We tried to pronounce this word. It sounds Australian. It’s become a shithot in joke. :P We Love It! “Janaury!!”
Later – Gaz’s 21st birthday partayyyy at his house and then to Cuba. It was good…erm we had heels on though because we’d dressed up… so that was a bit casse-pieds.
Sat 7th Feb – we went to Sugar in the night, Rob, Yvonne and Hannah came with us which is quite an event lol but good timesss.

We saw Hurley from Lost! :P he didn’t want to take a photo with us though, so we tried to take some sneaky ones… we eventually managed it. It really is him, right!! :P

And we saw some people dressed as the Mr Men so we are going to nick their idea haha. Mr Tickle was the best one!
There were also loads of people dressed as animals, like our bar crawl last week… they had 2 zebras and 2 ladybirds as well, I would say copycats, but there were no cats… and a parrot girl, and I saw a parrot on the floor and picked it up… it was only later that we discovered the parrot could talk. It was yet later that we discovered that the parrot has a filthy beak!! FILTHY! But going to have some fun with it. Shocking! (The parrot is called Leon, after the Kings of Leon because the parrot is on fire.
I also saw my dear friend Boy George and introduced him to everyone and we gave everyone else names of a similar popstar nature.
Monday 9th Feb – we decided to have a roast! Yay! Me, Char and Rob had a drive to Asda and got the stuff, listening to hot hits 1998 on the way back haha. Char was talking about how the song ‘Horny’ reminded her of ‘Hiney school’ haha. (Primary school yayy) :P We also picked up some jammy dodgers, blast from the past lol

Tuesday 10th Feb – had an English presentation… modernism. It went ok…
Wednesday 11th Feb – for our film project in thea 102 we went out asking random people to say ‘ I am Ophelia’ from Hamletmachine. Fun times. Sadly we have a hypochondriac in the group who is never there and we had to handle camera, tripod, boom, etc with just 2 of us, ooh well.
Thursday 12th Feb – elements indie night :D with flat twooo friends. I met this guy who wanted photos with us for some reason, so we did that… haha. And then I started teaching him salsa, like I do… and he was very nice. And he seemed very keen, then he wanted to ‘go somewhere quiet to talk’ so we went to the VIP room… and he was saying, “oh I never expected someone like you would even talk to me!” and I said, “Well why not!!” and he was being really lovely and complimentary. And then he said but he wasn’t looking for anything because he had just split up with his girlfriend. Bless him, what a sweet guy. I was a bit, oh here we go, about the ‘going somewhere quiet’ but no he’s lovely!

Also, me and Sam had a blast, we made up a Pokémon attack dance – you attack and then react to it haha. It’s awesome. And sex on fire = Ohhhhhh, your cake is on fiiiire! Put it out it’s on fire!!!!!!
And, we have a thing about Janine which I might have said already – asking randoms if they are Janine! So I asked the DJ at elements (who I always ask…) to shout happy birthday to Janine, and he did, me and Sam were like yaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy! How very mature we are. Who cares it was funny!

Friday 13th Feb – oooh errr--- :P
Wellll… at my Theatre seminar I had a bottle of Lucozade, and opened it and it went EVERYWHERE. I was soaked. Eeep. Now the crazy thing is, it’s happened before on a Friday theatre seminar. Everyone was like haha didn’t that happen about 2 weeks ago. So I sat there like, I’m not working today I’m wet haha. Then outside I saw this crazy notice. And me and Carly thought it was hilarious. We thought that, because it’s true!
The lecturer was a silver haired man with Ugg boots and earrings. He was slightly distracting. He is a tiny bit famous in theatre theory so I won’t name names, just in case he ego surfs.
Nighhhhhtttt – I got a Michael Jackson hat whoooop whoooop! Well, I admired it from afar, then it fell of this guy’s head and I picked it up off the floor but I thought he saw me, so I put it back on him as if I was doing him a huge favour… then, he gave it to me!! He did want it back later as it was apparently not his hat but too late for that mate haha. He loved it.
Then, I met Scarface. Well there was this guy, with a similar hat, it was on backwards. So I went and turned it round for him and said ‘your hat is on backwards’. Then we were just talking, and stuff, and he asked me ‘guess where I am from?’ and I just knew it, the accent, the walk, ‘Brazil!’. He was like ‘NOOOO, who told you?’ but I actually just guessed. It turns out he lives with Carly! Anyway… we talked about stuff, and we ended up kissing! Ahhhh! (this never happens to me on nights out haha) and we got the bus back to campus, his friend wanted to go to the takeaway on campus, but the boy (Lucca) said ‘I’ll go wherever you want to go..” (LOL.) but I said I’m really tired just going to go back. But he missed his stop, too busy haha. My housemates were shouting “get a room!” role reversal haha. So then at the next stop he had to run to catch up with his mate, hehe, Fran was going ‘look at him run!!!’ hehe.

Saturday 14th Feb – Valentines day! I was knackered and tried to sleep all day but couldn’t, but I didn’t want to stay in on my own on V day! So I went out with flat 7 girls… and first person I saw as I walked into Sugar was Lucca, lol. With Carly and their friends… and so I told Carly about the night before, and she was like ‘NOOOOOO WAY!’ haha. And what she thought would be really hilarious, she said, can I introduce you to him? And she said ‘Lucca, have you met my friend Katie?!’ :P haha it was quite good actually, I’d have done the same thing. How emb! :P and me and Carly invented a new dance, called ‘Nigel is shithot’. It’s very good.

Sunday 15th Feb – baking – Pear-Fect Crumble
An improv recipe but a fantastic one... using oriental and conference pears :) 4 pairs... and an intellectual chat about chromosomes...Sam - "Say if me and Katie had a kid, it would probably have black hair and brown eyes because that's a dominant gene..."Staffy - "But it might have like other genes that you don't see from Katie.."Katie - "Whatever happened, our kid would be a damn good baker!!"Could it possibly be the unique new angle for our baking tv show? A baking baby!!
Monday 16th Feb – realised I had to write a short report on my English presentation from the week before, for the next day! Ooops! So I did that Tues morning haha.
Spent Monday night playing Jenga in the corridor, building domino falls out of Jenga blocks, and a Jenga Boy!!
Tuesday 17th Feb – Sad death of Jenga Boy. It was the cleaners.
I got my Brecht essay back, tutor was a bit harsh with me, I did address the question all the way through… and I don’t like to take criticism from someone who can’t spell ‘you’re’. Going to have words!!
Wednesday 18th Feb - more I am Ophelia! We filmed me in front of the green screen, searching… for what…? I don’t know. I never found it.
I had this sitcom project audition thing as well but that went nowhere lol. My parents came to see me! We went to Wetherspoons. I was asked for id. My mum was jealous! :P I told them about my house for next year… (long story!! Will tell it another time hah)
Thursday 19th Feb – went for a swim at my parent’s place they were staying at. Sauna… eeep. Went to see Candoco dance at the Nuff, it was amaazzzing. Went back to Carly’s because I was bored and I stole a Jaffa cake bar that’s Lucca’s. :p
Staffy had been home for a few days, to surprise her mum! Then she was off to Amsterdam with Gaz for the day but two overnight ferries. I really missed her when she wasn’t here!!
Friday 20th Feb – lots of people arrived, Rob’s brother and his mate, Char’s sister and her boyfriend… ermmm two of Adam’s friends (does he have friends! Haha, they didn’t seem to get on that well though :P)
Then it was my last theatre lecture of the year! No way! and we had to then talk about celebrations that we would organise… and I joked about a celebration of Nigel!! But then that’s the one we actually planned haha. We think we should do it. Our actual course convenor Karen was there too and she found it hilarious!! The plan is to have Nigel carried in like a prince on a chaise longue, by 20 naked men. Then we would all dance around him in his style of dancing… contract, hup hup hup. Hehe.
Went to Toby carvery with my parents for tea, we had to wait agggges it was so busy but it was nice eventually! Then we went to Asda I got some vanilla extract, which has been elusive to me and Sam forever haha. BAKING! I got back and said bye to my parents, had a speed shower and getting ready sesh and joined the partay. We went to Sugarhouse, I saw Lucca again, at first I was avoiding him, Womanizer etc. But it went to a repeat of the previous week… I did ask him about his slag antics that Carly had told me, but he gave me his watch, and said, well I have to see you again now don’t I. I love this watch, it has Mickey Mouse in the middle and Mickey’s arms are the hands :D

Saturday 21st Feb – didn’t really do anything, as is the nature of my Saturdays!! Sam rang me in the morning on my internal which woke me up and I didn’t really understand what was going on haha. He asked me to go to Manchester with them but I was knackered. He didn’t go in the end either! I made a tasty stirfry for tea… erm… we went back to Sugar! Lucca. Again… a pattern is forming. It was quite funny though he came up and said ‘I like your watch, it’s lovely’ hehe.
But then he annoyed me because he wouldn’t dance with me, saying he couldn’t dance to that music. Whatevs!!

Sunday 22nd Feb – me and Sam baked, choconut muffins, sadly not our best.
But we made a larger cake of the same mixture and that was somehow a lot nicer.

We also decided to go to Outrageous at Toast, a gay friendly night they have the last Sunday of every month. I took round a bottle of Asda Cosmopolitan first, it was not good haha.
Then we were the first two people in Toast!! And for ages it was empty. We had a cocktail that we suspect the barman made up. Pineapple Mule…? :P Not that good either.
After that we stuck to water!!
The DJ was a transvestite, Sam’s mission was to get 21 Seconds played, and mine was The Thong Song because I had become a bit obsessed with it somehow. We didn’t get either L we kept asking!! I had to play it when I got back!!

Monday 23rd Feb – I had an exciting English lecture lol. Then we choreographed this dance thing for our Hamletmachine presentation. We had another Monday Roast!! Then we decided to go to Pizza hut for dessert! Char had a cheesecake, and me and Rob shared a hot cookie dough… tasty but they had run out of ice cream :( but we took some balloons back with us. Also in the car we had become a bit obsessed with the song The Boy Does Nothing and we played it really loud as we drove through campus, singing with the windows down. And I then realise someone I knew had just walked past hahaha. It was hilariously good fun though. We know how to live!
Tuesday 24th – English lecture and seminar, and then we had a meeting for the new society we are proposing – musical theatre :D I’m going to be social sec! whooo! Made pancakes with Sam, had 4… I even made a Cosmopolipancake! It was better than the cosmopolitans. I wanted to have a mini carnival too, it ended up just me, Char, Rob and Staff in the kitchen making pancakes (3) playing the thong song, Macarena and some Mardi Gras music I downloaded. Good fun J
Wednesday 25th – we had a meeting booked with Create, the young enterprise type thing on campus, to talk about our drinking board game Pi$$ed Me$$. THEY LOVE IT! WE ARE GOING TO BE RICH AND/OR FAMOUS, delete as appropriate haha. WHOOOO. I told everyone, then I was like, well I can’t really tell you as it’s a bit confidential right now. LOL.
Then I had to go and edit our video stuff. So impossible! Then… some second years had come into our theatre lecture a few weeks ago inviting us to be part of this political theatre group, now I’m not into politics but I thought ok I’ll go along, and then it was today a workshop type thing. So we went – Ella, Carly, Katherine and a few of the other girls from my theatre class. And first we played some warm up games, one really good one Whoooooooooooooosh Hohhhhhhhhhh, which I enjoyed a lot! And lots of Whose Line is it Anyway games… but I was thinking ok these people are a bit racist/xenophobic as they told me to be a BNP member at the party quirk game… hmm and lots of this sort of thing. But it was quite fun, improv stuff. Then there was a lecture about the group, which was called Blanc Theatre, because they want to produce ‘pure theatre’ about issues in England… and they want to start from a blank. But come on, that’s racist right… and as it went on it just got worse and I was feeling quite uncomfortable and had decided I really didn’t want to be involved. I looked around at the others and we were all looking a bit uncomfortable… and then at the end, the guys were like ‘well we hope you will join us and sign our manifesto’ and the girl came to the front and read out a sheet… a debrief….. to say that we had been totally deceived!!!!!

I was so relieved. They were doing a module on radical theatre and they had totally hoodwinked us, as their project :z haha.
The guy who had delivered the lecture was like ‘you were giving me such dirty looks’… omg how funny. I was in shock for ages, relieved so much that there weren’t 5 totally racist second years happening to be in the same class… Came back to my flat and told my flatmates. And omg Char had gone and got her nipple pierced! And Hannah got her lip pierced again on the other side. I felt a bit left out LOL.
Made a yummy stirfry… then my mum texted me to ‘have fun at the theatre social, now beat it’ and I texted back ‘that joke was so Bad but for you it was a Thriller!’ etc… because it was my much anticipated cross dressing night – Michael Jackson!!! Owhhhhhhh.
And it was a really good night :D I went to Carly’s first and the boys were there getting their spice girls gear on haha. Fit.
Then we went to Hannah (Eminem’s) flat… but I had to run back for Scary Spice’s trousers in Carly’s room, they sent me because I’m a speeeed demon haha. I saw Lucca too, oh he’s so hot just hanging around the flat. Hmmmm..
At the Carleton we kept getting shout outs for us yay. And they played Karma Chameleon for Boy George!! And You Rock my World for me! The DJ was like ‘we have Michael Jackson in the house tonight!!’ yipppeeee :P
I requested Black or White but they didn’t have it!! They played The Fresh Prince for us though, it’s our theme tune type thing from the first year show :P

Thursday 26th Feb – Carnage night!! We were editing again in the day… and then Staffy’s mate came up and we altered our Carnage t shirts… superhero theme… I got the sewing machine out on it! And made our capes.. we were kind of power puff girls… mine looked a bit superman though I had red tights and cape and blue shorts. :z Rob had 4 mates up!! We played some games in the kitch – I showed them Whoooooooosh Hohhhhhhhhh Zap and it proved pretty popular :P
Our first stop on Carnage we decided to go to Hustle, we had some questionable shots!!! :o bleurghh haha.
And I saw Carly moooold whooop.
And then, I saw Lucca. At the bar. With another girl.

Emma was dressed as Catwoman, with a whip, so we started hitting him with it. I was hiding as I could think of other revenges I wanted to be secret for… So I was shocked but I shouldn’t have been. I knew he was a slag but I was planning to change him… but I didn’t let him know I’d seen him. We moved on to the friary and had a few drinks there, started abusing each others t shirts...! Fun fun! I still have ‘MANCHESTER IS WONDERFUL’ all along my arm and I can’t quite remove it… well it’s better than what Staffy’s got on her arm LOL. We then went to Elements and spent most of the night pole dancing to some degree. :P

Friday 27th – we had a meeting about our Ladyboys presentation and our tutor basically told us we hadn’t done anything.. ermmm. But it’s going to be ok, we know what we are doing now. We had been a bit stuck!!
Staffy and her friend had been to see the X Factor tour in Manc, they had some transport troubles getting back to Lanc, but eventually they got back, I called a taxi we had a five min turn around and got out to Cuba! We saw Gaz and his mates, his friend was being a bit weird, but it was quite a fun night!!
When we got back, we made some toast as usual… and decided some kitchen pranks were in order!!!! Hehe. We rearranged Alex’s cupboard
and put a can of his peas in the oven. Who even has Tesco value processed marrowfat peas anyway! We don’t have a Tesco for miles around… we turned over his cups and mixed up his knives and forks. I put a cupcake in his drawer and sprinkled some sugar in it… maybe that was going a bit far. Staffy balanced an oxo cube in the cupboard door so it would fall off when he opened it. :P We cling filmed the inside of Adam’s cupboard. And we had some surprises in store for Rob too. He’s gone to Sheff for the weekend but when we were out we had some shots and one of the shot glasses was a total miniature version of his glasses. So we stole it, and we have replaced it for one of his glasses in his cupboard. We wrote a little speech bubble ‘Rob – you forgot to feed me!’.
We also put his teatowel in his cupboard and tucked a little egg into it, and I have drawn a sleeping face on the egg. Heheh. He will love it! :D We went to bed giggling like noocs.

Saturday 28th Feb – it’s my friend Sammy’s birthday... miss her!! Gosh, a year since her 18th flipping heck haha.
This morning I was just waking up when I heard Alex discovering his surprise… he asked me if I knew who put salt in his drawer… I opened the drawer and had a little peruse, and said, all nonchalant, “that’s not salt, it’s sugar…”
LOL- managed a straight face just about!!
Tonight the plan is to go to Sugar and hopefully I will see my dear Lucca… the revenge plan is – I will act normal with him, tease him a little bit, go in for the kiss… and the last minute - *SLAP!!*
All my mates are in on it ahhaa. We are going to film it and stick it on his facebook so all his friends see it…
I also love how all the girls I have told are well up for my revenge. All the straight guys, said, nahh leave it don’t bother doing that. But I’m listening to my ladies because GUYS LIE!!
I just have to hope he’s out tonight! :D yay!
He needn’t think he’s getting his watch back either. It’s my expensive souvenir. I haven’t eaten the jaffa cake yet either… if all goes well I may well stick a candle on it and eat it in celebration! :P
Well… my revenge was shitnot. I got a bit drunk like not much but I had felt like needing Dutch courage. Unfortunately I realised, I couldn’t do it. We weren’t together technically he wasn’t doing anything wrong and I didn’t really have the right to slap him. I did talk to him about it although I don’t feel we really got anywhere, he did say he didn’t remember kissing her at all and that he came home really early which is true cos I didn’t see him after that, and he said that if he’d known I was there he’d never have done it. It doesn’t make it any better but hey it’s a bit of fun, it’s not going to go anywhere I’m pretty sure because he doesn’t seem to want a girlfriend he doesn’t think in the future he lives in the moment.. :P ner…
But a fun night anyway, little dance at the shug, it’s all good.

Sunday 1st March – well we kicked off the month in style, bien sur.
Me and Sam had a little drivey on down to Asda price slap slap. We got some baking ingredients and ‘normal food’ etc. We also discovered Doritos collisions, two flavours one bag, oooh err, that’s a bit much in crisp innovation haha, but very nice, an improvement on the Cajun Squirrel flavour crisps I tried a few weeks ago because they were giving stuff away at the management school.
So after that delightful trip to la supermarché, we baked. And we baked good…
This is what I wrote on our facebook group for the day (yeah I’m lazy and copying and pasting it :P )
Today was a good day for baking. A day that will be remembered for years to come. Something must have been in the air, and whatever it was, it was loving our kitchen. We were well prepared, we admit. A trip to Asda and a plan of baking action, definitely a good idea. Fly Peach Pie - nothing to do with flies don't worry... (well every chef has a secret ingredient don't they?! ;) It was so flyyy :P we spent ages perfecting the lattice top - teamwork - high five :P but Sam did everything else so take a bow Sam :PMy ambition was to make an alcoholic cake, and I used a tasty fusion of Pineapple Daiquiri to make a cake that would turn you Upside Down. (if you ate enough of it.) Fineapple. It just slipped out of the tin, maybe the proudest moment of my baking career so far!! We also had a bit of pastry left... it was used to create - Tart Baby. He had a short life but a jammy good one... all Tart Babies die young..."Bake well, tart!!"And an interesting factoid for you - it seems we always take Pacman style photos of our cakes and pies etc with a chunk out of them... well, you know why Pacman is called Pacman? Because the Japanese onomatopoeia for eating rapidly is 'paku paku'. Which totally makes sense, because we always eat the first tasty chunk that makes Pacman's mouth very quickly!! Fans of Sam and Katie's baking, never say we don't educate you :P

Monday 2nd March – Staff’s birthday! Whooooo!!
Well I had a lecture at 12 then proceeded to blow up many many balloons and was just about to put them in her room when she got back from Gaz’s. But she went to make toast and I put them in her room and a little trail of balloons in the corridor leading to her room… then we took out the recylcing and when we came back in she saw them and then went to her room and she loved the surprise!! :D
I also got her a birthday princess rosette in Asda so she wore that hehe.
I then had to go for a theatre meeting but when I got back I made a bday poster to put in the window! :D and thennn tried to do a bit of work but it never really appealed to me, LOL.
We went out to Bella Italia for tea, Mondays half price for students yay. My food took a bit longer to come out so they didn’t charge for it! But we just split the bill equally which wasn’t quite right because I hadn’t had a starter and everyone else did (I can’t eat much at restaurants for some reason) and they gave us a free birthday cake! J so that was nice. So essentially I paid a tenner for a coke but hey.
We went to friary after for a drink… nice but it was empty, we’ve never been on a Monday before. And everyone was really tired and Alex was annoying all night, going on about wine at the restaurant, we’re all like 18, 19, we don’t care about dry wines and fruity reds or whatevs. And going on about football teams in the friary arguing about northern teams, we are a bit of a minority I suppose, Staff’s southern and no one really knows how to categorise me, Midlands of course!! But I could feel the atmosphere was a bit wrong and was glad when we went home to be honest… Y and H had made a treasure hunt of Crunchie bars for Staffy, everyone’s paranoid cos someone said they were cancelling Crunchie, but I just googled it quite thoroughly and I can’t find any evidence of that… only the ones in miniature heroes because it was not cost effective… so I will break the good news in the morning LOL. Something everyone agrees on at least – Crunche bars rock!
Also means that now, this is going to be a very long post with LOTS OF PICS! I will try to be in the mindset of each date so I won’t give anything away but I will say, yay for revenge (fingers crossed!) So, starting with…
Tuesday 27th January – we baked, pancakes... Emma made a pink one with some food colouring, disastrous and disgusting!!
Wednesday 28th January – baked macaroons and chocolate brownies!! :) Both very good, who cares only me, Sam and Char like coconut, more macaroons for us then!!

We went to Sugar for paradox something they do occasionally, with DJs and MCs in from other clubs/cities… this was DJ Luck and MC Neat, was a fun night..!! Before we went out we also played the premier of our new game, Body Blitz! Named after an exercise class yes :P Well it’s not as good as PM.. but… it needs work haha. We are pretty Creative though!! ;)

Friday 30th Jan – Sam’s friend Suzi came up to see him, lovely girl.. we went to Elements with a big group of us… Hannah’s friend was a bit keen on me, sweet lad but!!
Sat 31st Jan – Me and Staffy had an epic bar crawl! In the day, Char had her music on really loud and me and Staff were ‘corridor clubbing’, Char didn’t know haha. Also Adam in a moment of domesticity decided to hoover his room, the plug for the hoover is outside in the corridor, and with the music on loud, we found it hilarious to keep switching it off and back on…. He never did say anything about it, but it kept us amused on a boring Saturday!! :P
So later, we decided that we would have a big fat bar crawl!! The aim – 15 bars – the 8 college bars plus 7 bars in town! Dressed as… a ladybird and a zebra…

Thursday 5th Feb – we went to Elements in the evening for indie night, love it… and saw Carly and we anticipated Nigel’s lecture which was to happen at 2pm the next day whoooop whoooop! Exciting times! :D

Friday 6th Feb – NIGEL’S LECTURE!!!! YAY. What can I say, it was shithot. We also had a workshop on physical theatrey stuff, fun but Nigel didn’t do that bit. L ahh well. The lecture was, shithot.
On the way back, me and Carly saw a poster, for some event that apparently happened on like the 28th of Janaury. JANAURY. We tried to pronounce this word. It sounds Australian. It’s become a shithot in joke. :P We Love It! “Janaury!!”
Later – Gaz’s 21st birthday partayyyy at his house and then to Cuba. It was good…erm we had heels on though because we’d dressed up… so that was a bit casse-pieds.
Sat 7th Feb – we went to Sugar in the night, Rob, Yvonne and Hannah came with us which is quite an event lol but good timesss.

There were also loads of people dressed as animals, like our bar crawl last week… they had 2 zebras and 2 ladybirds as well, I would say copycats, but there were no cats… and a parrot girl, and I saw a parrot on the floor and picked it up… it was only later that we discovered the parrot could talk. It was yet later that we discovered that the parrot has a filthy beak!! FILTHY! But going to have some fun with it. Shocking! (The parrot is called Leon, after the Kings of Leon because the parrot is on fire.
I also saw my dear friend Boy George and introduced him to everyone and we gave everyone else names of a similar popstar nature.
Monday 9th Feb – we decided to have a roast! Yay! Me, Char and Rob had a drive to Asda and got the stuff, listening to hot hits 1998 on the way back haha. Char was talking about how the song ‘Horny’ reminded her of ‘Hiney school’ haha. (Primary school yayy) :P We also picked up some jammy dodgers, blast from the past lol

Tuesday 10th Feb – had an English presentation… modernism. It went ok…
Wednesday 11th Feb – for our film project in thea 102 we went out asking random people to say ‘ I am Ophelia’ from Hamletmachine. Fun times. Sadly we have a hypochondriac in the group who is never there and we had to handle camera, tripod, boom, etc with just 2 of us, ooh well.
Thursday 12th Feb – elements indie night :D with flat twooo friends. I met this guy who wanted photos with us for some reason, so we did that… haha. And then I started teaching him salsa, like I do… and he was very nice. And he seemed very keen, then he wanted to ‘go somewhere quiet to talk’ so we went to the VIP room… and he was saying, “oh I never expected someone like you would even talk to me!” and I said, “Well why not!!” and he was being really lovely and complimentary. And then he said but he wasn’t looking for anything because he had just split up with his girlfriend. Bless him, what a sweet guy. I was a bit, oh here we go, about the ‘going somewhere quiet’ but no he’s lovely!

And, we have a thing about Janine which I might have said already – asking randoms if they are Janine! So I asked the DJ at elements (who I always ask…) to shout happy birthday to Janine, and he did, me and Sam were like yaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy! How very mature we are. Who cares it was funny!

Friday 13th Feb – oooh errr--- :P
Wellll… at my Theatre seminar I had a bottle of Lucozade, and opened it and it went EVERYWHERE. I was soaked. Eeep. Now the crazy thing is, it’s happened before on a Friday theatre seminar. Everyone was like haha didn’t that happen about 2 weeks ago. So I sat there like, I’m not working today I’m wet haha. Then outside I saw this crazy notice. And me and Carly thought it was hilarious. We thought that, because it’s true!
The lecturer was a silver haired man with Ugg boots and earrings. He was slightly distracting. He is a tiny bit famous in theatre theory so I won’t name names, just in case he ego surfs.
Nighhhhhtttt – I got a Michael Jackson hat whoooop whoooop! Well, I admired it from afar, then it fell of this guy’s head and I picked it up off the floor but I thought he saw me, so I put it back on him as if I was doing him a huge favour… then, he gave it to me!! He did want it back later as it was apparently not his hat but too late for that mate haha. He loved it.
Then, I met Scarface. Well there was this guy, with a similar hat, it was on backwards. So I went and turned it round for him and said ‘your hat is on backwards’. Then we were just talking, and stuff, and he asked me ‘guess where I am from?’ and I just knew it, the accent, the walk, ‘Brazil!’. He was like ‘NOOOO, who told you?’ but I actually just guessed. It turns out he lives with Carly! Anyway… we talked about stuff, and we ended up kissing! Ahhhh! (this never happens to me on nights out haha) and we got the bus back to campus, his friend wanted to go to the takeaway on campus, but the boy (Lucca) said ‘I’ll go wherever you want to go..” (LOL.) but I said I’m really tired just going to go back. But he missed his stop, too busy haha. My housemates were shouting “get a room!” role reversal haha. So then at the next stop he had to run to catch up with his mate, hehe, Fran was going ‘look at him run!!!’ hehe.

Saturday 14th Feb – Valentines day! I was knackered and tried to sleep all day but couldn’t, but I didn’t want to stay in on my own on V day! So I went out with flat 7 girls… and first person I saw as I walked into Sugar was Lucca, lol. With Carly and their friends… and so I told Carly about the night before, and she was like ‘NOOOOOO WAY!’ haha. And what she thought would be really hilarious, she said, can I introduce you to him? And she said ‘Lucca, have you met my friend Katie?!’ :P haha it was quite good actually, I’d have done the same thing. How emb! :P and me and Carly invented a new dance, called ‘Nigel is shithot’. It’s very good.

Sunday 15th Feb – baking – Pear-Fect Crumble
An improv recipe but a fantastic one... using oriental and conference pears :) 4 pairs... and an intellectual chat about chromosomes...Sam - "Say if me and Katie had a kid, it would probably have black hair and brown eyes because that's a dominant gene..."Staffy - "But it might have like other genes that you don't see from Katie.."Katie - "Whatever happened, our kid would be a damn good baker!!"Could it possibly be the unique new angle for our baking tv show? A baking baby!!
Monday 16th Feb – realised I had to write a short report on my English presentation from the week before, for the next day! Ooops! So I did that Tues morning haha.
Spent Monday night playing Jenga in the corridor, building domino falls out of Jenga blocks, and a Jenga Boy!!
Tuesday 17th Feb – Sad death of Jenga Boy. It was the cleaners.
I got my Brecht essay back, tutor was a bit harsh with me, I did address the question all the way through… and I don’t like to take criticism from someone who can’t spell ‘you’re’. Going to have words!!
Wednesday 18th Feb - more I am Ophelia! We filmed me in front of the green screen, searching… for what…? I don’t know. I never found it.
I had this sitcom project audition thing as well but that went nowhere lol. My parents came to see me! We went to Wetherspoons. I was asked for id. My mum was jealous! :P I told them about my house for next year… (long story!! Will tell it another time hah)
Thursday 19th Feb – went for a swim at my parent’s place they were staying at. Sauna… eeep. Went to see Candoco dance at the Nuff, it was amaazzzing. Went back to Carly’s because I was bored and I stole a Jaffa cake bar that’s Lucca’s. :p
Staffy had been home for a few days, to surprise her mum! Then she was off to Amsterdam with Gaz for the day but two overnight ferries. I really missed her when she wasn’t here!!
Friday 20th Feb – lots of people arrived, Rob’s brother and his mate, Char’s sister and her boyfriend… ermmm two of Adam’s friends (does he have friends! Haha, they didn’t seem to get on that well though :P)
Then it was my last theatre lecture of the year! No way! and we had to then talk about celebrations that we would organise… and I joked about a celebration of Nigel!! But then that’s the one we actually planned haha. We think we should do it. Our actual course convenor Karen was there too and she found it hilarious!! The plan is to have Nigel carried in like a prince on a chaise longue, by 20 naked men. Then we would all dance around him in his style of dancing… contract, hup hup hup. Hehe.
Went to Toby carvery with my parents for tea, we had to wait agggges it was so busy but it was nice eventually! Then we went to Asda I got some vanilla extract, which has been elusive to me and Sam forever haha. BAKING! I got back and said bye to my parents, had a speed shower and getting ready sesh and joined the partay. We went to Sugarhouse, I saw Lucca again, at first I was avoiding him, Womanizer etc. But it went to a repeat of the previous week… I did ask him about his slag antics that Carly had told me, but he gave me his watch, and said, well I have to see you again now don’t I. I love this watch, it has Mickey Mouse in the middle and Mickey’s arms are the hands :D

Saturday 21st Feb – didn’t really do anything, as is the nature of my Saturdays!! Sam rang me in the morning on my internal which woke me up and I didn’t really understand what was going on haha. He asked me to go to Manchester with them but I was knackered. He didn’t go in the end either! I made a tasty stirfry for tea… erm… we went back to Sugar! Lucca. Again… a pattern is forming. It was quite funny though he came up and said ‘I like your watch, it’s lovely’ hehe.
But then he annoyed me because he wouldn’t dance with me, saying he couldn’t dance to that music. Whatevs!!

Sunday 22nd Feb – me and Sam baked, choconut muffins, sadly not our best.
But we made a larger cake of the same mixture and that was somehow a lot nicer.

We also decided to go to Outrageous at Toast, a gay friendly night they have the last Sunday of every month. I took round a bottle of Asda Cosmopolitan first, it was not good haha.
Then we were the first two people in Toast!! And for ages it was empty. We had a cocktail that we suspect the barman made up. Pineapple Mule…? :P Not that good either.
After that we stuck to water!!
The DJ was a transvestite, Sam’s mission was to get 21 Seconds played, and mine was The Thong Song because I had become a bit obsessed with it somehow. We didn’t get either L we kept asking!! I had to play it when I got back!!

Monday 23rd Feb – I had an exciting English lecture lol. Then we choreographed this dance thing for our Hamletmachine presentation. We had another Monday Roast!! Then we decided to go to Pizza hut for dessert! Char had a cheesecake, and me and Rob shared a hot cookie dough… tasty but they had run out of ice cream :( but we took some balloons back with us. Also in the car we had become a bit obsessed with the song The Boy Does Nothing and we played it really loud as we drove through campus, singing with the windows down. And I then realise someone I knew had just walked past hahaha. It was hilariously good fun though. We know how to live!
Tuesday 24th – English lecture and seminar, and then we had a meeting for the new society we are proposing – musical theatre :D I’m going to be social sec! whooo! Made pancakes with Sam, had 4… I even made a Cosmopolipancake! It was better than the cosmopolitans. I wanted to have a mini carnival too, it ended up just me, Char, Rob and Staff in the kitchen making pancakes (3) playing the thong song, Macarena and some Mardi Gras music I downloaded. Good fun J
Wednesday 25th – we had a meeting booked with Create, the young enterprise type thing on campus, to talk about our drinking board game Pi$$ed Me$$. THEY LOVE IT! WE ARE GOING TO BE RICH AND/OR FAMOUS, delete as appropriate haha. WHOOOO. I told everyone, then I was like, well I can’t really tell you as it’s a bit confidential right now. LOL.
Then I had to go and edit our video stuff. So impossible! Then… some second years had come into our theatre lecture a few weeks ago inviting us to be part of this political theatre group, now I’m not into politics but I thought ok I’ll go along, and then it was today a workshop type thing. So we went – Ella, Carly, Katherine and a few of the other girls from my theatre class. And first we played some warm up games, one really good one Whoooooooooooooosh Hohhhhhhhhhh, which I enjoyed a lot! And lots of Whose Line is it Anyway games… but I was thinking ok these people are a bit racist/xenophobic as they told me to be a BNP member at the party quirk game… hmm and lots of this sort of thing. But it was quite fun, improv stuff. Then there was a lecture about the group, which was called Blanc Theatre, because they want to produce ‘pure theatre’ about issues in England… and they want to start from a blank. But come on, that’s racist right… and as it went on it just got worse and I was feeling quite uncomfortable and had decided I really didn’t want to be involved. I looked around at the others and we were all looking a bit uncomfortable… and then at the end, the guys were like ‘well we hope you will join us and sign our manifesto’ and the girl came to the front and read out a sheet… a debrief….. to say that we had been totally deceived!!!!!

I was so relieved. They were doing a module on radical theatre and they had totally hoodwinked us, as their project :z haha.
The guy who had delivered the lecture was like ‘you were giving me such dirty looks’… omg how funny. I was in shock for ages, relieved so much that there weren’t 5 totally racist second years happening to be in the same class… Came back to my flat and told my flatmates. And omg Char had gone and got her nipple pierced! And Hannah got her lip pierced again on the other side. I felt a bit left out LOL.
Made a yummy stirfry… then my mum texted me to ‘have fun at the theatre social, now beat it’ and I texted back ‘that joke was so Bad but for you it was a Thriller!’ etc… because it was my much anticipated cross dressing night – Michael Jackson!!! Owhhhhhhh.
And it was a really good night :D I went to Carly’s first and the boys were there getting their spice girls gear on haha. Fit.
Then we went to Hannah (Eminem’s) flat… but I had to run back for Scary Spice’s trousers in Carly’s room, they sent me because I’m a speeeed demon haha. I saw Lucca too, oh he’s so hot just hanging around the flat. Hmmmm..
At the Carleton we kept getting shout outs for us yay. And they played Karma Chameleon for Boy George!! And You Rock my World for me! The DJ was like ‘we have Michael Jackson in the house tonight!!’ yipppeeee :P
I requested Black or White but they didn’t have it!! They played The Fresh Prince for us though, it’s our theme tune type thing from the first year show :P

Thursday 26th Feb – Carnage night!! We were editing again in the day… and then Staffy’s mate came up and we altered our Carnage t shirts… superhero theme… I got the sewing machine out on it! And made our capes.. we were kind of power puff girls… mine looked a bit superman though I had red tights and cape and blue shorts. :z Rob had 4 mates up!! We played some games in the kitch – I showed them Whoooooooosh Hohhhhhhhhh Zap and it proved pretty popular :P
Our first stop on Carnage we decided to go to Hustle, we had some questionable shots!!! :o bleurghh haha.
And I saw Carly moooold whooop.
And then, I saw Lucca. At the bar. With another girl.

Emma was dressed as Catwoman, with a whip, so we started hitting him with it. I was hiding as I could think of other revenges I wanted to be secret for… So I was shocked but I shouldn’t have been. I knew he was a slag but I was planning to change him… but I didn’t let him know I’d seen him. We moved on to the friary and had a few drinks there, started abusing each others t shirts...! Fun fun! I still have ‘MANCHESTER IS WONDERFUL’ all along my arm and I can’t quite remove it… well it’s better than what Staffy’s got on her arm LOL. We then went to Elements and spent most of the night pole dancing to some degree. :P

Friday 27th – we had a meeting about our Ladyboys presentation and our tutor basically told us we hadn’t done anything.. ermmm. But it’s going to be ok, we know what we are doing now. We had been a bit stuck!!
Staffy and her friend had been to see the X Factor tour in Manc, they had some transport troubles getting back to Lanc, but eventually they got back, I called a taxi we had a five min turn around and got out to Cuba! We saw Gaz and his mates, his friend was being a bit weird, but it was quite a fun night!!
When we got back, we made some toast as usual… and decided some kitchen pranks were in order!!!! Hehe. We rearranged Alex’s cupboard
and put a can of his peas in the oven. Who even has Tesco value processed marrowfat peas anyway! We don’t have a Tesco for miles around… we turned over his cups and mixed up his knives and forks. I put a cupcake in his drawer and sprinkled some sugar in it… maybe that was going a bit far. Staffy balanced an oxo cube in the cupboard door so it would fall off when he opened it. :P We cling filmed the inside of Adam’s cupboard. And we had some surprises in store for Rob too. He’s gone to Sheff for the weekend but when we were out we had some shots and one of the shot glasses was a total miniature version of his glasses. So we stole it, and we have replaced it for one of his glasses in his cupboard. We wrote a little speech bubble ‘Rob – you forgot to feed me!’.
We also put his teatowel in his cupboard and tucked a little egg into it, and I have drawn a sleeping face on the egg. Heheh. He will love it! :D We went to bed giggling like noocs.

Saturday 28th Feb – it’s my friend Sammy’s birthday... miss her!! Gosh, a year since her 18th flipping heck haha.
This morning I was just waking up when I heard Alex discovering his surprise… he asked me if I knew who put salt in his drawer… I opened the drawer and had a little peruse, and said, all nonchalant, “that’s not salt, it’s sugar…”
LOL- managed a straight face just about!!
Tonight the plan is to go to Sugar and hopefully I will see my dear Lucca… the revenge plan is – I will act normal with him, tease him a little bit, go in for the kiss… and the last minute - *SLAP!!*
All my mates are in on it ahhaa. We are going to film it and stick it on his facebook so all his friends see it…
I also love how all the girls I have told are well up for my revenge. All the straight guys, said, nahh leave it don’t bother doing that. But I’m listening to my ladies because GUYS LIE!!
I just have to hope he’s out tonight! :D yay!
He needn’t think he’s getting his watch back either. It’s my expensive souvenir. I haven’t eaten the jaffa cake yet either… if all goes well I may well stick a candle on it and eat it in celebration! :P
Well… my revenge was shitnot. I got a bit drunk like not much but I had felt like needing Dutch courage. Unfortunately I realised, I couldn’t do it. We weren’t together technically he wasn’t doing anything wrong and I didn’t really have the right to slap him. I did talk to him about it although I don’t feel we really got anywhere, he did say he didn’t remember kissing her at all and that he came home really early which is true cos I didn’t see him after that, and he said that if he’d known I was there he’d never have done it. It doesn’t make it any better but hey it’s a bit of fun, it’s not going to go anywhere I’m pretty sure because he doesn’t seem to want a girlfriend he doesn’t think in the future he lives in the moment.. :P ner…
But a fun night anyway, little dance at the shug, it’s all good.

Sunday 1st March – well we kicked off the month in style, bien sur.
Me and Sam had a little drivey on down to Asda price slap slap. We got some baking ingredients and ‘normal food’ etc. We also discovered Doritos collisions, two flavours one bag, oooh err, that’s a bit much in crisp innovation haha, but very nice, an improvement on the Cajun Squirrel flavour crisps I tried a few weeks ago because they were giving stuff away at the management school.
So after that delightful trip to la supermarché, we baked. And we baked good…
This is what I wrote on our facebook group for the day (yeah I’m lazy and copying and pasting it :P )
Today was a good day for baking. A day that will be remembered for years to come. Something must have been in the air, and whatever it was, it was loving our kitchen. We were well prepared, we admit. A trip to Asda and a plan of baking action, definitely a good idea. Fly Peach Pie - nothing to do with flies don't worry... (well every chef has a secret ingredient don't they?! ;) It was so flyyy :P we spent ages perfecting the lattice top - teamwork - high five :P but Sam did everything else so take a bow Sam :PMy ambition was to make an alcoholic cake, and I used a tasty fusion of Pineapple Daiquiri to make a cake that would turn you Upside Down. (if you ate enough of it.) Fineapple. It just slipped out of the tin, maybe the proudest moment of my baking career so far!! We also had a bit of pastry left... it was used to create - Tart Baby. He had a short life but a jammy good one... all Tart Babies die young..."Bake well, tart!!"And an interesting factoid for you - it seems we always take Pacman style photos of our cakes and pies etc with a chunk out of them... well, you know why Pacman is called Pacman? Because the Japanese onomatopoeia for eating rapidly is 'paku paku'. Which totally makes sense, because we always eat the first tasty chunk that makes Pacman's mouth very quickly!! Fans of Sam and Katie's baking, never say we don't educate you :P

Monday 2nd March – Staff’s birthday! Whooooo!!
Well I had a lecture at 12 then proceeded to blow up many many balloons and was just about to put them in her room when she got back from Gaz’s. But she went to make toast and I put them in her room and a little trail of balloons in the corridor leading to her room… then we took out the recylcing and when we came back in she saw them and then went to her room and she loved the surprise!! :D
I also got her a birthday princess rosette in Asda so she wore that hehe.
I then had to go for a theatre meeting but when I got back I made a bday poster to put in the window! :D and thennn tried to do a bit of work but it never really appealed to me, LOL.
We went out to Bella Italia for tea, Mondays half price for students yay. My food took a bit longer to come out so they didn’t charge for it! But we just split the bill equally which wasn’t quite right because I hadn’t had a starter and everyone else did (I can’t eat much at restaurants for some reason) and they gave us a free birthday cake! J so that was nice. So essentially I paid a tenner for a coke but hey.
We went to friary after for a drink… nice but it was empty, we’ve never been on a Monday before. And everyone was really tired and Alex was annoying all night, going on about wine at the restaurant, we’re all like 18, 19, we don’t care about dry wines and fruity reds or whatevs. And going on about football teams in the friary arguing about northern teams, we are a bit of a minority I suppose, Staff’s southern and no one really knows how to categorise me, Midlands of course!! But I could feel the atmosphere was a bit wrong and was glad when we went home to be honest… Y and H had made a treasure hunt of Crunchie bars for Staffy, everyone’s paranoid cos someone said they were cancelling Crunchie, but I just googled it quite thoroughly and I can’t find any evidence of that… only the ones in miniature heroes because it was not cost effective… so I will break the good news in the morning LOL. Something everyone agrees on at least – Crunche bars rock!

Robin Hood, Bandit Babes... get your smurf on!!
Heyyyy heyyy... it's been a while my little blog.
So, since I last posted, last Thursday night (15th) we went out to the friary, butttt sadly somewhere along the line I felt really really drunk (weird, I had been totally fine and didn't have that much to drink but it hit me so suddenly and I was throwing up for ages, everyone was totally helpful especially Staffy, what a star. And it was one of those times where I am still sick all the next day... :( eurghhh... suspicions of spiked drinks maybe. Anyway photo from before it went wrong!!
Friday, after recovering, had theatre studies which sorted me out nicely haha, it usually does.
And then it was Heroes and Villains night so I went as Robin Hood (I've wanted to do this for soooo long :P and Staffy was Catwoman.. Saw some other friends out, well lots of them but our mates from the house weren't dressed up, shocking.

I well want to do one of these nights, I'd be a carnival dancer from Brazil, or like her name was Lola she was a showgirl!! Feathers and Sequins! Nightmares for the sisterhood hehe.)
This is a random guy from Nottingham who was very excited to meet me... didn't want to shatter his dreams and reveal I was only dressed as Robin Hood :P

The next day I had auditions for theatre group, and Sunday smurf shopping! And also me and Staffy decided to go to Fusion Tuesday, theme 999 night... and we thought let's be different and go as robbers! It was well good. When in the pound shop we bought a white hat, a black hat and a dog lead each, I think there was more in the woman's "Three pounds then please" than it seemed, LOL they must have thought what freaks :P
Monday night I had recalls for the theatre audition I did, but in the end the roles I was reading were given to third years (Viola and Sebastian in 12th night), but hey they have done more Shakespeare than even Shakespeare ever did! When I got back, half my flat had been swimming and they wanted to do mky Urban workout dvd with me in the kitch so we did thatttt haha. Adam had to go to bed after 10 minutes, Alex did 2 mins of it and made toast and left, Rob and Char did half, but me and Staffy stayed the distance and finished the entire thing, it was v good, I'd only done half of it before and wasn't even out of breath this time, these people need to get some stamina haha. I like the woman on the dvd too, she's like 'you'll be looking flyyy' which confused my northern friends, surely they've heard of fly?!
Tuesday night Fuuuusion bandit babes!
We chained ourselves together for the entire night after leaving campus! on the bus, going to the bar, on the stage, in the loos! We had a good system lol which we had to demonstrate to many confused people... we spent an hour making gaffer tape stripes on our outfits, it was so funny!
We fell over once though, someone asked what tricks we could do and we were like, we can get low... but Staffy fell over and took me with her! Or maybe it was me that fell anyway we landed in a little stripy embarrassed pile on the floor! But at least 12 people thought we were twins and we just went along with it cos it was really funny, we made some new friends and had some drinks bought for us so welll alriiight haha. Someone said, "so you're quite literally joined at the hip!"
We didn't get to bed til nearly 5 though and we both had 10 o clock start this morning, but we managed it!! (Separately haha, it was so weird to free ourselves when we got back to the flat, we ran up and down the corridor haha.)

Wednesday I was in no state of awakenedness, but theatre wasn't too strenuous, we were editing (learning... slowly...) and my team made a little rave video out of clips of people doing some kind of team building out of bounds thingy. A guy catching a box, sped up, over and over provides a good solid beat... and a whiny woman going "Listen to Zoeeeeee!" over the top. Pretty awesome.... :z :P
Went home, went to sleep and got up later to do my esssayyyy. Got most of it done and me and Suzy kept ringing each other (internal campus free phones rock) we were doing the same essay, Brecht, but we were mostly just distracting each other haha. Thursday morning and the dawn of Smurf night!! I finished my essay anyway and it was all cover sheeted and referenced and bibliographied ready to be dropped in the box at 12 Friday.
Smurf times begin!! We painted ourselves up niiicely. and played our special game Smurfed Mess :P and made a smurf pyramid!!

But we'd already been to the friary so it wasn't all bad she just couldnt do indie night at elements. her boyfriend lives in town so he came and fetched her, LOL we can laugh about it now!
Friday was tired as well, our stupid useless cleaners come in shouting at the top of their voices I'd rather we didn't have any, I'm sure between us we could take out the bin which is all they do!
But I was already awake at 8.30 quite randomly!! Hmmm. got really tired later though... handed my essay in then theatre studies, oh we watched a bit of the Ladyboys of Bangkok which cheered everyone up, I think they are what I aspire to be like haha.

The next day I had auditions for theatre group, and Sunday smurf shopping! And also me and Staffy decided to go to Fusion Tuesday, theme 999 night... and we thought let's be different and go as robbers! It was well good. When in the pound shop we bought a white hat, a black hat and a dog lead each, I think there was more in the woman's "Three pounds then please" than it seemed, LOL they must have thought what freaks :P
Monday night I had recalls for the theatre audition I did, but in the end the roles I was reading were given to third years (Viola and Sebastian in 12th night), but hey they have done more Shakespeare than even Shakespeare ever did! When I got back, half my flat had been swimming and they wanted to do mky Urban workout dvd with me in the kitch so we did thatttt haha. Adam had to go to bed after 10 minutes, Alex did 2 mins of it and made toast and left, Rob and Char did half, but me and Staffy stayed the distance and finished the entire thing, it was v good, I'd only done half of it before and wasn't even out of breath this time, these people need to get some stamina haha. I like the woman on the dvd too, she's like 'you'll be looking flyyy' which confused my northern friends, surely they've heard of fly?!
Tuesday night Fuuuusion bandit babes!
We chained ourselves together for the entire night after leaving campus! on the bus, going to the bar, on the stage, in the loos! We had a good system lol which we had to demonstrate to many confused people... we spent an hour making gaffer tape stripes on our outfits, it was so funny!
We fell over once though, someone asked what tricks we could do and we were like, we can get low... but Staffy fell over and took me with her! Or maybe it was me that fell anyway we landed in a little stripy embarrassed pile on the floor! But at least 12 people thought we were twins and we just went along with it cos it was really funny, we made some new friends and had some drinks bought for us so welll alriiight haha. Someone said, "so you're quite literally joined at the hip!"
We didn't get to bed til nearly 5 though and we both had 10 o clock start this morning, but we managed it!! (Separately haha, it was so weird to free ourselves when we got back to the flat, we ran up and down the corridor haha.)

Wednesday I was in no state of awakenedness, but theatre wasn't too strenuous, we were editing (learning... slowly...) and my team made a little rave video out of clips of people doing some kind of team building out of bounds thingy. A guy catching a box, sped up, over and over provides a good solid beat... and a whiny woman going "Listen to Zoeeeeee!" over the top. Pretty awesome.... :z :P
Went home, went to sleep and got up later to do my esssayyyy. Got most of it done and me and Suzy kept ringing each other (internal campus free phones rock) we were doing the same essay, Brecht, but we were mostly just distracting each other haha. Thursday morning and the dawn of Smurf night!! I finished my essay anyway and it was all cover sheeted and referenced and bibliographied ready to be dropped in the box at 12 Friday.
Smurf times begin!! We painted ourselves up niiicely. and played our special game Smurfed Mess :P and made a smurf pyramid!!

so it was a good smurfy night...
unfortunately Staffy forgot her ticket but tried to sneak in and got sent out, we said we'd pay again but the bouncers were nasty and apparently she had sworn at them so she was really upset... and the amount of effort we had made! But we'd already been to the friary so it wasn't all bad she just couldnt do indie night at elements. her boyfriend lives in town so he came and fetched her, LOL we can laugh about it now!
Friday was tired as well, our stupid useless cleaners come in shouting at the top of their voices I'd rather we didn't have any, I'm sure between us we could take out the bin which is all they do!
But I was already awake at 8.30 quite randomly!! Hmmm. got really tired later though... handed my essay in then theatre studies, oh we watched a bit of the Ladyboys of Bangkok which cheered everyone up, I think they are what I aspire to be like haha.
More feminine than any girls I know :P
Sooooo last night just had an early night and this morning been cleaning the kitch and not much else really. Might go out tonight not sure, will go out Sunday with Sam, Toast whoooo! :P
